How the 7-day Social Bee trial works

Creator and Starter open with a 7-day trial on a card. The first charge lands on day 8, one trial is allowed per business, and the caps are printed in advance.

Creator and Starter start with a 7-day trial. A card is required at checkout, the first charge lands on day 8, and one trial is allowed per business. The trial is capped at 2 Image Generation Credits, 20 publishing actions and 2 connected profiles. Growth is billed from day one. Enterprise is sales-assisted and has no trial.

That is the whole policy, live on both plans today, apart from one line: cancelling before the charge, from the billing portal, costs nothing. The rest of this page explains why each part is written that way, and how to spend the seven days so the trial actually answers your question.

The card comes first because the workspace is real. Social Bee does not run a demo tier that later has to be rebuilt into the product. When you start, the workspace is provisioned as a governed tenant with its own identity, permissions, allowances and account boundaries, which is also why there is no permanent free plan. A card at checkout is what makes that provisioning possible on day one rather than on day eight.

Day 8 is the first charge, not the end of anything. The plan panel in the workspace states the trial end date, the date of the first charge and the caps in force, so there is no ambiguity about what happens next. If you do nothing, the plan you chose begins and the trial caps are lifted. If you cancel from the billing portal before the charge, nothing is charged.

One trial per business is the rule that keeps the offer honest for everyone. A trial is granted once to a business, not once per email address, so a second workspace created by the same company starts on the plan it chooses rather than on another free week.

The three caps deserve a plain explanation, because they are deliberately small.

Two Image Generation Credits. Enough to see how generation works end to end: a brief, a concept, an image that lands in the studio as reviewable creative rather than as a post. Generation is metered by reservation and settlement, so a credit is held before a job starts and settled against the delivered result, and a confirmed failure releases the reservation. Two credits is not enough to produce a campaign, and it is not meant to be.

Twenty publishing actions. Enough to connect a real account and publish real posts to it, which is the only way to check that the destination, the approval step and the delivery record behave the way your team needs. The cap applies to every trialing workspace: on Starter, where organic publishing is otherwise unlimited under a fair-use limit, the trial still holds you to the 20 actions, and unlimited publishing resumes when the trial converts.

Two connected profiles. Enough to test the thing that matters most, which is exact-account publishing across two destinations, without opening a whole portfolio during a week when nobody has decided anything yet.

What is not capped: drafting, reviewing, approving, scheduling, planning and reading. Those are the parts of the workflow you should exercise hardest during a trial, because they are what you will do every day afterwards, and none of them spends a credit.

What you can buy during the trial: image credit packs and clips, if two credits are not enough to answer your question. Packs are 50 credits for $19, 150 for $49, 500 for $149 and 1,500 for $399, and purchased credits do not expire and do not reset with the monthly window, though included monthly credits are always consumed first. Video is billed per clip: standard clips at $4.99, $8.99 and $12.99 for 5, 10 and 15 seconds at 1080p, and advanced clips at $10.99, $13.99 and $15.99. What you cannot buy during the trial is the X channel add-on; it unlocks after the trial, and the channel itself is not available yet.

What happens at conversion. The caps lift, the plan's own allowances take over, and the workspace keeps everything in it: brands, guidelines, drafts, approvals, connections and the audit trail. Nothing is rebuilt and nothing is re-connected. Included allowances refresh on monthly windows and do not roll over, including on annual billing, which uses the same monthly windows.

Which plan to trial. Creator is one person, one verified Creator Identity, 1 seat, 6 connected profiles and 30 Image Generation Credits a month, at $100 a month or $1,056 a year paid upfront. Starter is an in-house team on one verified Brand Workspace, 10 seats, 12 connected profiles and 150 credits a month, at $400 a month or $4,224 a year, and it is the first plan with roles and permissions, one-step approvals, the Brand Kit and brand memory. If more than one person will touch the brand, trial Starter rather than Creator: roles and approvals are the part you need to feel.

Growth, at $1,000 a month or $10,560 a year, is billed from day one, because pooled usage across a portfolio and multi-stage approvals are not questions a capped week can answer. Enterprise starts at $1,499 a month and is sales-assisted, so the operating shape is agreed before anything is provisioned.

A seven-day plan that uses the caps well. On day one, connect two exact accounts and set the brand voice and Brand Kit. On day two, set the calendar markets, the week layout and one real key date. On day three, draft three posts, generate one image and route one through approval. On day four, publish one post to a real account and read what the product tells you afterwards. On day five, try the same flow from the ChatGPT app and confirm that it stops at the approval step. On day six, invite the person who will approve, and let them do it without your help. On day seven, decide, and either continue or cancel from the billing portal.

Cancelling is the same portal either way. Before the charge, it costs nothing. Afterwards, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, stops future charges, and does not delete retained workspace data.
